Thanks for your interest in having me review your book(s)! If you’re not sure whether your book fits into one of the categories I will review, feel free to shoot me an email.

My primary focus is reading books by African-American authors. However, I love great books.

I will review:

• Christian living & nonfiction
• Christian fiction – contemporary, chick lit, women’s fiction, YA, literary, historical romance,  mystery, thriller, suspense
• Literary fiction (contemporary or historical, sans excessive language and sex)
• Young Adult (YA)
• Self-help, dieting, or weight loss
• Cozy mysteries
• Biographies and memoirs
• Healthy cookbooks
• General nonfiction
• ARCs, finished copies, and galleys in manuscript form
• Self-published books
• Books in audio or electronic format

 

I won’t review:

• Romance & erotica
• Secular historical fiction
• Secular young adult novels
• Secular thrillers
• Horror
• Westerns
• Science fiction, speculative, fantasy, or paranormal
• Graphic novels

 

Interviews/Guest Posts/Blog Tours

I am happy to host authors for an interview, guest post or a stop on a blog tour. If you are interested in doing an author interview, I do request that a copy of your novel be sent with ample time to read before the questions need to be submitted.

Unsolicited books: I am very open to receiving unsolicited books. Pretty much all of the books I receive will be featured on my weekly In My Mailbox post/video.

Exposure: Books I accept for review will receive four points of exposure. They will be reviewed on my blog, featured on the weekly In My Mailbox post/video, and reviewed on Amazon and Goodreads. I also link to all blog reviews on Twitter and Facebook.

Timing: When participating in a blog tour, I will always review within the specified dates. Unless a specific timetable is requested, I will review books on my own schedule, usually within 1-2 months. If you want your book reviewed within a certain set of dates, please specify that in your review request and I will do my best to accommodate.
